Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chap Romerano started the match with the kick off. Zornin Mielgo was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Chap Romerano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chap Romerano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Bobadilla in the 8th minute of play forced Borra's goalkeeper Xamo Hualde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Peter Frejon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, one of Borra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borra. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ruy Bobadilla sped through Borra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xamo Hualde. Donato Traspuesto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zornin Mielgo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Traspuesto in the 38th minute. When Bibiano Verdeja fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid Castilla's protests and gave Bibiano Verdeja a yellow card for diving instead. Bibiano Verdeja kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Donato Traspuesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Innocenzio Lascano might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zornin Mielgo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Innocenzio Lascano ran back to his position shaking his head. Donato Traspuesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Real Madrid Castilla were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruy Bobadilla was the one to do the kick off. Real Madrid Castilla's Peter Frejon got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Real Madrid Castilla getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gil Orejas hit a great ball. If Gaur Arindez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Traspuesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaur Arindez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Borra's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Bobadilla came free, but Xamo Hualde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Traspuesto struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Zornin Mielgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borra. If Donato Traspuesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bibiano Verdeja kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Zornin Mielgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Traspuesto in the 92nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Madrid Castilla walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
