In the 16th minute Ezkerra Trujillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurin Mediavilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atarrabi Entero, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arnalt Ceitegui took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurin Mediavilla. Laurin Mediavilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 41 played minutes Arirapaha FC got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Basallan. Ezkerra Trujillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezkerra Trujillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eulalio Rojas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bucaramanga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Arirapaha FC's Laurin Mediavilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezkerra Trujillo in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Bucaramanga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Ribeiro came free, but Palban Gundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Arirapaha FC's Laurin Mediavilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Arirapaha FC from getting a goal against them. In the 68th match minute, Arirapaha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Basallan to maneuver through the defense. Palban Gundin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Ribeiro went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Basallan in the 79th minute of play forced Bucaramanga FC's goalkeeper Palban Gundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bucaramanga FC's goalkeeper Palban Gundin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaspar Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Bucaramanga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Arirapaha FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Ribeiro. Gaspar Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Palban Gundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bucaramanga FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arirapaha FC.
