Ebardo Cazarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Balanza having to interfere. Perrando Valben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Louis Herbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perrando Valben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Herbi having to interfere. Louis Herbi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bazkoare Pinos's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Papayasada de Soto's zone, Bazkoare Pinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Herbi came out of the goal and Bazkoare Pinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Perrando Valben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAPUS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perrando Valben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ebardo Cazarez in the 30th minute of play forced PAPUS FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Balanza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of La Papayasada de Soto booed when PAPUS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vermudo Azua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bazkoare Pinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Bazkoare Pinos rounded La Papayasada de Soto's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. With an all-out effort, PAPUS FC's Louis Herbi threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bazkoare Pinos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Bazkoare Pinos made the kick off in the second half. In the 84th minute, Tallia Barriobero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PAPUS FC's Alejandro Balanza didn't even have to move. Candido Grandas might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Balanza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Grandas ran back to his position shaking his head. Louis Herbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bazkoare Pinos in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bazkoare Pinos in the 93rd minute of play forced La Papayasada de Soto's goalkeeper Louis Herbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, one of La Papayasada de Soto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. PAPUS FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
