Maikol FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Eloi Isazi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedillo Rincon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Maikol FC.'s Rocendo Ruidiez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrio Castriciones in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Gitano Labarrita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Rocendo Ruidiez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rocendo Ruidiez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gitano Labarrita in the 44th minute. If Gitano Labarrita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The supporters of Cajambre FC booed when Maikol FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Fueyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maikol FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urtsin Arzalaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. A hard shot 73 in the game by Rioja Sole from a close distance when the talented Eloi Isazi managed to make a qualified save. Cajambre FC's players were relieved. Adrio Castriciones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rocendo Ruidiez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rocendo Ruidiez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gitano Labarrita in the 77th minute of the match. Mateus Tejadillo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Cajambre FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cajambre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maikol FC. the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Cajambre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gitano Labarrita to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Vedillo Rincon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cajambre FC's Eloi Isazi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cajambre FC's zone, Rioja Sole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloi Isazi came out of the goal and Rioja Sole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloi Isazi was a little too slow when Rioja Sole got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 4-3. If Gitano Labarrita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maikol FC.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
