The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juanito Eiros during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Umbrella FC booed when Acayali FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juanito Eiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goito Cotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermon Ungia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bingen Villarroel got free with Goito Cotero in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bingen Villarroel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Goito Cotero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bingen Villarroel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Goito Cotero made a huge save. When Baiarte Artolozaga fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umbrella FC's protests and gave Baiarte Artolozaga a yellow card for diving instead. Goito Cotero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bingen Villarroel in the 19th minute. Jacob Pallar charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacob Pallar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Acayali FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Umbrella FC:s goal. Oier Silguero went to the wrong direction when Joam Cota was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 33 played minutes Umbrella FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Cendan. Goito Cotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermon Ungia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goito Cotero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bingen Villarroel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Goito Cotero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermon Ungia to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Baiarte Artolozaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermon Ungia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Acayali FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Panfilo Campuzano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Mantecon in the 60th minute of play forced Acayali FC's goalkeeper Oier Silguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Jon Seña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Mantecon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Goito Cotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juanito Eiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 75th minute, Hermon Ungia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Izarra charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Izarra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Goito Cotero came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Acayali FC's Hermon Ungia. But to his dismay, Hermon Ungia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Goito Cotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermon Ungia in the 91st minute of play. Dalmacio Cendan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acayali FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Umbrella FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
