Caribay FC's Leonardo Illera couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Engano FC. In the 19th match minute, Engano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazcano Pelaz to maneuver through the defense. Tajo Contreras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garaona Velazquez in the 22nd minute. If Teofilio Mella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilio Mella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marco Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Area had several of the Engano FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Tajo Contreras as he didn't even see the shot coming. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Area was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Engano FC's Gonzales Rosich got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Engano FC defense, Constantino Area kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tajo Contreras. The Engano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tajo Contreras should have stopped the shot. Caribay FC's Marco Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menendo Ceballos in the 78th minute of play.
