The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucas Folgueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominguez Narbona in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Sirena's Deunoro Dobale got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 13th minute, Sirena's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dominguez Narbona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 17 minutes into the match, FC Burgos's goal looked a bit too open when Elivareo Lagunez came free, but Ixona Albarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Burgos's Ipar Pujana got a free kick in the 21st minute. Elivareo Lagunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes FC Burgos got a freekick which was hit by Isidor Zamudio. Sirena's Lucas Folgueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Sirena from getting a goal against them. Dominguez Narbona hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elivareo Lagunez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sirena's zone, Hug Ascot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Folgueira came out of the goal and Hug Ascot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ipar Pujana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Burgos's zone, Elivareo Lagunez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ixona Albarez came out of the goal and Elivareo Lagunez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Caunedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ixona Albarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Hug Ascot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Burgos and the Sirena players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hug Ascot kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Dominguez Narbona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ipar Pujana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Folgueira having to interfere. In the 79th minute Dominguez Narbona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Folgueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Deunoro Dobale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sirena and the FC Burgos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sirena getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Deunoro Dobale hit a great ball. Dominguez Narbona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lucas Folgueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Burgos booed when Sirena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luix Liaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sirena's Lucas Folgueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominguez Narbona in the 92nd minute of play. If Dominguez Narbona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
