A collision led to Canelo FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Buinton Bevia hit a great ball. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Betania's goalkeeper Sagrario Adan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buinton Bevia in the 8th minute of play forced Betania's goalkeeper Sagrario Adan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sagrario Adan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xencio Closa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Sagrario Adan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xencio Closa in the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Buinton Bevia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Buinton Bevia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buinton Bevia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Adan having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Betania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johans Victorica to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Rosio Morelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Uriarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Bandera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Perico Uriarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Canelo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rosio Morelo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gabriel Bandera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Uriarte having to interfere. Perico Uriarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosio Morelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Canelo FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Patxi Fonseca hit a great ball. Gabriel Bandera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Rosio Morelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sagrario Adan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xencio Closa in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canelo FC's goalkeeper Perico Uriarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Xencio Closa made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Buinton Bevia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rosio Morelo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Betania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosio Morelo couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Gabriel Bandera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Perico Uriarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Rosio Morelo made a precise shot to the right of Perico Uriarte. Canelo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Xencio Closa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sagrario Adan. That made the score 3-1 in the 75 minute of play. Buinton Bevia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Adan having to interfere. Rosio Morelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Perico Uriarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosio Morelo in the 92nd minute of the match. When Xencio Closa came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Canelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xencio Closa couldn't finish the play. Rosio Morelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Perico Uriarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canelo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
