The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Vergas got free with Nerio Barrutia in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Millano Saldoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rogerio Villaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nerio Barrutia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quentin Vergas's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jeraldo Güemes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nerio Barrutia to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th minute of the game Manolito Baroja made a throw-in which Quentin Vergas played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentin Vergas got free with Nerio Barrutia in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Millano Saldoval notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Liverly FC's Rogerio Villaro. Rogerio Villaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Imanol Artime hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeraldo Güemes during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Liverly FC's Jeraldo Güemes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Rogerio Villaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiadoro Lagrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Cebrian Platas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverly FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alianza Sur the free kick. A collision led to Liverly FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cebrian Platas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Alianza Sur's Millano Saldoval got a free kick in the 40th minute. Teofilio Tarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nerio Barrutia having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Nerio Barrutia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quentin Vergas's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Alianza Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Jeraldo Güemes came free, but Nerio Barrutia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 56th minute of the match Cebrian Platas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cebrian Platas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Millano Saldoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Quentin Vergas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liverly FC's Quentin Vergas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quentin Vergas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nerio Barrutia having to make a save. Miliano Herce kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Quentin Vergas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverly FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Vergas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nerio Barrutia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Iaki Herbella in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alianza Sur's Miliano Herce. In the 85th minute, Quentin Vergas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Liverly FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilio Tarres. After 96 minutes, Hodei Sabugal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alianza Sur and the Liverly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alianza Sur fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Liverly FC a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeraldo Güemes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alianza Sur's Nerio Barrutia. 4-1. Liverly FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
