In the 9th minute Gustau Durazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogerio Villaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin Vergas came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baraquiel Mujica could save by the left post. In the 12th minute Txordon Para shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogerio Villaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liverly FC's Rogerio Villaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txordon Para in the 13th minute of play. Rogerio Villaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Villacis in the 17th minute of the match. Jeraldo Güemes might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baraquiel Mujica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeraldo Güemes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogerio Villaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Villacis in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Gustau Durazo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Liverly FC's Rogerio Villaro. Rogerio Villaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quentin Vergas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Baraquiel Mujica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quentin Vergas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernat Rano's late challenge caught a Liverly FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernat Rano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Liverly FC booed when Maceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernat Rano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogerio Villaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustau Durazo in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustau Durazo made a kick off. When Maceo's Gustau Durazo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverly FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Ostargi Briceño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Maceo's zone, Jeraldo Güemes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baraquiel Mujica came out of the goal and Jeraldo Güemes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quintan Camazon charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quintan Camazon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Liverly FC booed when Maceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintan Camazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Quentin Vergas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Liverly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quentin Vergas couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Quintan Camazon made a precise shot to the right of Rogerio Villaro. Liverly FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 73rd match minute, Maceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Areces to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Liverly FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cebrian Platas hit a great ball. After 77 minutes, Batista Oviedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverly FC and the Maceo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maceo booed when Liverly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batista Oviedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustau Durazo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustau Durazo in the 91st minute of play forced Liverly FC's goalkeeper Rogerio Villaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Ostargi Briceño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverly FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maceo the free kick. The supporters of Maceo booed when Liverly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ostargi Briceño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogerio Villaro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Omero Benitez. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maceo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
