Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chico Limon kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Taurino Manjon managed to get in a good position for a shot. RICOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taurino Manjon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Almodovar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manny Cascallana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rik Zaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Rik Zaldo was a little too slow when Manny Cascallana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 19 minutes, Manny Cascallana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valledupar and the RICOS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Valledupar getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Manny Cascallana hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerardo Arostegui in the 29th minute of play forced Valledupar's goalkeeper Hugo Almodovar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Jerardo Arostegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RICOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerardo Arostegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rik Zaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maore Espineiro in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duardo Baez got free with Rik Zaldo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, RICOS FC's Xavian Tio got a free kick in the 37th minute. RICOS FC's Rik Zaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save RICOS FC from getting a goal against them. Maore Espineiro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Rik Zaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Limon in the 53rd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes RICOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavian Tio. Rik Zaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Limon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rik Zaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duardo Baez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Orkatz Baldes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jerardo Arostegui took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Almodovar. Hugo Almodovar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Valledupar lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
