Manolo Maysonet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Montes Chinchilla's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Montes Chinchilla in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manolo Maysonet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Orozco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolo Maysonet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Orozco, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Guido Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, RAY Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Muñagorri to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Orozco in the 27th minute of play forced RAY Athletic Club's goalkeeper Manolo Maysonet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Caluce FC booed when RAY Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gauargi Sirgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montes Chinchilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Maysonet having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Guido Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caluce FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Orozco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolo Maysonet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Guido Orozco made the kick off in the second half. After 51st play minutes Montes Chinchilla shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Manolo Maysonet and just under the crossbar into goal.
