Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1040, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonel Adrada got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Deportivo Cali got a freekick which was hit by Endura Zuriarrain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bakar Llorens in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnalt Zuzuarregui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damaso Esterina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arnalt Zuzuarregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Alcantara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustaquio Felpeto having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Leonel Adrada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry Alcantara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustaquio Felpeto came out and tried to block the shot, but Henry Alcantara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. When Urre Bocos fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Municipal's protests and gave Urre Bocos a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Henry Alcantara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Cali's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Alcantara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Felpeto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Henry Alcantara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bakar Llorens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnalt Zuzuarregui having to interfere. Damaso Esterina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnalt Zuzuarregui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Arnalt Zuzuarregui came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Municipal's Damaso Esterina. But to his dismay, Damaso Esterina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Bakar Llorens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Endura Zuriarrain kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Esterina was the one to do the kick off. After 69 played minutes Club Deportivo Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Piorno Ucieda. Oroitz Muruve was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eustaquio Felpeto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Adrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bakar Llorens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Alcantara in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Felpeto saved Club Deportivo Municipal from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Leonel Adrada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustaquio Felpeto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Alcantara during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Deportivo Cali got a freekick which was hit by Henry Alcantara. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Garoa Izar took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Arnalt Zuzuarregui to make any attempt to save it. Club Deportivo Municipal's Damaso Esterina got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Deportivo Municipal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Cali.
