An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacio Peramato in the 23rd minute of play forced Americano's goalkeeper Ugutz Pacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Americano's goal looked a bit too open when Dacio Peramato came free, but Ugutz Pacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phelipe Pose's late challenge caught a Tenere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phelipe Pose helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tenere booed when Americano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phelipe Pose didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Americano getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Phelipe Pose hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tebaldo Peinado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match Tebaldo Peinado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maria Iracheta skillfully saved the ball. Indar Belorado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Maria Iracheta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Sendoa Bue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Americano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tenere the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yiyo Cobos got free with Ugutz Pacios in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th match minute, Americano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Asas to maneuver through the defense. Ugutz Pacios made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Yiyo Cobos sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orkatz Larrangos in the 85th minute of play forced Americano's goalkeeper Ugutz Pacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dacio Peramato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ugutz Pacios was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Yiyo Cobos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ugutz Pacios made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Tenere failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
