Campero's Lonzo Romani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Goycoa in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Campero's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Goycoa came free, but Lonzo Romani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Pañizares charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Pañizares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Campero booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Pañizares didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lonzo Romani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giraldo Recino in the 38th minute of play. Jimeno Goycoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lonzo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giraldo Recino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Lonzo Romani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Goycoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Campero defense, Giraldo Recino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lonzo Romani. The Campero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lonzo Romani should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 66 played minutes, MILLONARIOS FC's Piearres Profitos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lonzo Romani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MILLONARIOS FC reached it. Florentino Subirada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iratxo Lavandera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Formerio Depino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Subirada having to interfere. Jimeno Goycoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Giraldo Recino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giraldo Recino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Niceto Ezguerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lonzo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Goycoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Giraldo Recino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Lonzo Romani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Sein Victorero fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campero's protests and gave Sein Victorero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Campero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sein Victorero didn't get a good kick on the ball. MILLONARIOS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pau Cardeñosa in the 95th minute. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Giraldo Recino took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Lonzo Romani to make any attempt to save it.
