Encontrado's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordi Perdiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kismi Tristan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Fresno's zone, Andrew Trarigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kismi Tristan came out of the goal and Andrew Trarigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Fresno's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Trarigo came free, but Kismi Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrew Trarigo scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kismi Tristan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Llope Agüero fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fresno's protests and gave Llope Agüero a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fresno fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! 34 minutes into the match, Jordi Perdiz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fresno's Kismi Tristan. Kismi Tristan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrew Trarigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kismi Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuban Reinoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Encontrado's Xuban Reinoso got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Cervilla kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xuban Reinoso to make the kick off. Kismi Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuban Reinoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Andrew Trarigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kismi Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Fresno's protests and gave Seme Vallino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fresno getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Seme Vallino hit a great ball. Jordi Perdiz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Encontrado booed when Fresno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Cervilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kismi Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuban Reinoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xuban Reinoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes Fresno got a freekick which was hit by Roque Cervilla. Kismi Tristan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Trarigo in the 97th minute. Encontrado's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
