Kismi Tristan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Castulo Tomas in the 6th minute. If Valerio Gascon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fresno's Kismi Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izel Darroja in the 10th minute of play. Kismi Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerio Gascon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fresno getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. DFS's Valerio Gascon got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fresno's Kismi Tristan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fresno from getting a goal against them. Kismi Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerio Gascon in the 26th minute of play. If Castulo Tomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerio Gascon in the 32nd minute of play forced Fresno's goalkeeper Kismi Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valerio Gascon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. DFS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kismi Tristan made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Frantzes Lazo sent off a good shot on target. When Frantzes Lazo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the DFS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frantzes Lazo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Castulo Tomas got free with Kismi Tristan in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Valerio Gascon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, Fresno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otoniel Baraña to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Valerio Gascon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fresno's goalkeeper Kismi Tristan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DFS fully deserved thier win.
