Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virila Caroso took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaxen Irulegui. Kaxen Irulegui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kaxen Irulegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hondo Potes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Herensuge Anguiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Donio Marrero made a huge save. A collision led to Chaguala getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Reinaldo Miquel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Cespedes in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donio Marrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virila Caroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kaxen Irulegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Virila Caroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Chaguala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymon Carces to maneuver through the defense. Virila Caroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hondo Potes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hondo Potes might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaxen Irulegui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hondo Potes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Virila Caroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaxen Irulegui was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herensuge Anguiano got free with Donio Marrero in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Cespedes in the 36th minute of play forced Chaguala's goalkeeper Donio Marrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaxen Irulegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virila Caroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 54 minutes Tamarindo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eustacio Candelaria who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Eustacio Candelaria almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tamarindo FC's Kaxen Irulegui did a great save. Kaxen Irulegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virila Caroso in the 88th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Tamarindo FC got a freekick which was hit by Emenon Varo.. Hondo Potes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Kaxen Irulegui made a huge save. Kaxen Irulegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virila Caroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herensuge Anguiano in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donio Marrero saved Chaguala from getting behind. When the match was over Chaguala could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tamarindo FC throughout the match.
