Nelio Serantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zernin Acitores having to interfere. Xinazo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Angelino Lavet 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Cesar Mandelo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tolimita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Mandelo couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Lavet to strike the kick off in the second half. Zernin Acitores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelio Serantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xinazo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonel Lluch was slow to take the kick. During this time Tolimita FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tolimita FC's Leonel Lluch to fire away a dangerous shot which Zernin Acitores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match, Evaristo Cabezas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikola Colmenarejo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Evaristo Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rolando Folgar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xinazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Folgar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikola Colmenarejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelio Serantes took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zernin Acitores. Zernin Acitores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Angelino Lavet's late challenge caught a Xinazo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Lavet helped the player get up and apologised. If Rolando Folgar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Eguntsenti Robres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xinazo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tolimita FC the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Xinazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eguntsenti Robres to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Lavet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Xinazo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tolimita FC.
