Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sesuldo Pelegri kicked off to start the match. Veremundo Rosich helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Felisa booed when Nacional f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veremundo Rosich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Germano Vila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sesuldo Pelegri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Maurilio Gavilanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sesuldo Pelegri in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurilio Gavilanes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nacional f.c's Maurilio Gavilanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional f.c from getting a goal against them. In the 18thth minute of the game Sesuldo Pelegri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacional f.c's Maurilio Gavilanes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Laureano Astiategui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Sesuldo Pelegri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sesuldo Pelegri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 played minutes, Felisa's Humberto Corcoba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurilio Gavilanes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Felisa reached it. In the 43rd minute Sesuldo Pelegri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmiro Echaitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veremundo Rosich in the 45th minute of play. When Germano Vila came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Felisa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Vila couldn't finish the play.

66 minutes into the match, Nacional f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Vila came free, but Maurilio Gavilanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Masseda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sesuldo Pelegri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurilio Gavilanes was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Nacional f.c succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Felisa had controlled the match.
