Un sueño real
Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) Medrano's Ovando Collazos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Medrano booed when Atlético Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Mancina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Nacional's zone, Zuhaitz Pruano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roano Fondos came out of the goal and Zuhaitz Pruano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovando Collazos struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Roano Fondos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medrano. If Zuhaitz Pruano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Barrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geofredo Zuniga in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Medrano's Gustavo Frenes got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuhaitz Pruano in the 32nd minute of play forced Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Roano Fondos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Medrano's Ovando Collazos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roano Fondos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geofredo Zuniga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Abel Barrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geofredo Zuniga to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuhaitz Pruano got free with Roano Fondos in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Frenes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Roano Fondos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zuhaitz Pruano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roano Fondos having to make a save. If Ovando Collazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zuhaitz Pruano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roano Fondos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovando Collazos in the 68th minute of play. When Karlos Mendoza fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medrano's protests and gave Karlos Mendoza a yellow card for diving instead. Ovando Lando kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Zuhaitz Pruano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Roano Fondos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Atlético Nacional getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Joao Noriega hit a great ball. Lertxun Azaceta got in the 81st minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Roano Fondos and thus it was 0-2. Zuhaitz Pruano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medrano's Ovando Collazos got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Zuhaitz Pruano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuhaitz Pruano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovando Collazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
