The referee ignored Cocal FC's protests and gave Mariano Sotres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Cajipi. Tebaldo Ibarguen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christiano Machado. 0-1. Virila Acutain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Machado having to interfere. Filipe Llera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Machado having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Cajipi's goal looked a bit too open when Gutxi Amigo came free, but Lorencio Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manni Morell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cajipi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gutxi Amigo 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 21st minute Virila Acutain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Llera in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiano Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gutxi Amigo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorencio Lira saved Cajipi from getting behind. Christiano Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virila Acutain, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Cocal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Vilardell to maneuver through the defense. Tebaldo Ibarguen, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lorencio Lira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gutxi Amigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Filipe Llera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cajipi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Virila Acutain took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Machado. Christiano Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After the first half Cajipi were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gutxi Amigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Bernardo Fardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Gutxi Amigo made a precise shot to the right of Lorencio Lira. Cajipi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cajipi's goalkeeper Lorencio Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cocal FC's zone, Filipe Llera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Machado came out of the goal and Filipe Llera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virila Acutain was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Cajipi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Filipe Llera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Vilardell hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Virila Acutain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajipi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virila Acutain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiano Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virila Acutain in the 90th minute of the match. Filipe Llera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Christiano Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cajipi's Virila Acutain in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cocal FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cocal FC's zone, Virila Acutain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Machado came out of the goal and Virila Acutain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manni Morell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Lorencio Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
