Teofilo Urquiaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Isusko Caballeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basajaun Aoiz having to interfere. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macapay FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Urquiaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ranyave FC's Ortle Mendialdura got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Macapay FC booed when Ranyave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ortle Mendialdura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basajaun Aoiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isusko Caballeiro in the 36th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Selatse Bellid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Telesforo Iribarren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Isusko Caballeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basajaun Aoiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ortle Mendialdura's late challenge caught a Macapay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ortle Mendialdura helped the player get up and apologised. Ortle Mendialdura kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Isusko Caballeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Corces got free with Basajaun Aoiz in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Endira Legaspe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Basajaun Aoiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isusko Caballeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With an all-out effort, Macapay FC's Basajaun Aoiz threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isusko Caballeiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Macapay FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ranyave FC.
