Rufio Hebia might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xosepe Reigosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rufio Hebia ran back to his position shaking his head. When Leonel Amilburu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Xosepe Reigosa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Xosepe Reigosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Amilburu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Indar Ezguerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the blue demons defense, Pietro Estarrona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elija Azcaraso. After 31 minutes of play, blue demons's Rufio Hebia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xosepe Reigosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, blue demons's Caradaro Bizoso got a free kick in the 36th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 81 minutes blue demons's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilesindo Arcaya who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Xavon Guzman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Estarrona in the 84th minute of play forced blue demons's goalkeeper Elija Azcaraso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Leonel Amilburu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. blue demons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gerl´s the free kick. A collision led to blue demons getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Leonel Amilburu hit a great ball. Gerl´s's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
