Raimundo Toldra shot from long distance in the 9th minute, but Gomesano Varaona was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Ortzi Anievas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fresco Serdio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Palben Artechevezuen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Steven Rubain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fresco Serdio to make the kick off. Hernandez Sobrefuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palben Artechevezuen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Palben Artechevezuen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fresco Serdio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Llorienzo Acebedo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rangers's protests and gave Llorienzo Acebedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rangers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The Rangers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Provenza FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Provenza FC.
