Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Izaguirre to make the kick off. Pinote FC's Quilino Ordoñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Izaguirre in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Pinote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gauargi Oreamuno to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes of play, Tebasco FC's Eloy Izaguirre made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quilino Ordoñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eloy Izaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Urtzi Barbas, was totally fooled by Pinote FC's Roderigo Taranco, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Huly Calvillo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Erauso Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quilino Ordoñez having to interfere. Erauso Lillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quilino Ordoñez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Eloy Izaguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tebasco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Izaguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quilino Ordoñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tebasco FC had played much better football throughout.
