The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafin Ribacoba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luix Castejana hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Lando Bernabeytia came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the millonarios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lando Bernabeytia couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, JIA's Paulo Galdamez got control of the ball when Tximitx Mondrevilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, JIA's goalkeeper Paulo Galdamez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lando Bernabeytia. Damian Ondarra kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. millonarios FC's Lando Bernabeytia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Tximitx Mondrevilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Galdamez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Mario Viguera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. millonarios FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JIA the free kick. The supporters of JIA booed when millonarios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Viguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donostia Sella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donostia Sella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Teo Danzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serafin Ribacoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lando Bernabeytia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Paulo Galdamez made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domeka Benegas during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domeka Benegas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tximitx Mondrevilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. millonarios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tximitx Mondrevilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Galdamez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Gitano Villares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Lando Bernabeytia managed to get in a good position for a shot. millonarios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lando Bernabeytia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Galdamez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Lando Bernabeytia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Galdamez. JIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lando Bernabeytia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 86th minute, Lando Bernabeytia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. JIA's Damian Ondarra pulled a muscle in his back after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lando Bernabeytia's late challenge caught a JIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lando Bernabeytia helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Viguera kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Tximitx Mondrevilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Paulo Galdamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. millonarios FC fully deserved thier win.
