Manchester Red's Beltxe Lortia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iruinea Haza in the 32nd minute of play. Berbiz Cascales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Beltxe Lortia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beltxe Lortia came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Regeneración's Berbiz Cascales. But to his dismay, Berbiz Cascales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Durango in the 44th minute of play forced Regeneración's goalkeeper Xavon Herbias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Regeneración got a freekick which was hit by Ikatz Torrecillas. Xavon Herbias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Valiente Cecilia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Xavon Herbias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valiente Cecilia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Regeneración's goalkeeper Xavon Herbias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Durango. Valiente Cecilia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Manchester Red's Xavon Herbias threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lauaxeta Tipular, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Berbiz Cascales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beltxe Lortia was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The supporters of Regeneración booed when Manchester Red was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauaxeta Tipular didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Regeneración's Xuaco Duran broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Xavon Herbias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valiente Cecilia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Regeneración getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ikatz Torrecillas hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Regeneración:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manchester Red:s goal.
