After having played for 17 minutes, Berbiz Cascales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regeneración's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berbiz Cascales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Berbiz Cascales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Abel Salado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 24 played minutes Arbolsolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Indar Figueira. If Mikeldi Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute, Mikeldi Mezquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arbolsolo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mel Estarrona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Mikeldi Mezquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arbolsolo FC and the Regeneración players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Arbolsolo FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikeldi Mezquita to strike the kick off in the second half. Xavon Herbias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquez Freije, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Abel Salado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berbiz Cascales in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Mikeldi Mezquita took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Xavon Herbias to make any attempt to save it. After 96 played minutes Arbolsolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mel Estarrona. When the final whistle sounded Arbolsolo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Regeneración.
