The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maraman Alire to strike the kick off in the second half. Berbiz Cascales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Cobreros having to interfere. A collision led to Regeneración getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ikatz Torrecillas hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Selatse Vicente sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Regeneración's Xavon Herbias didn't even have to move. 58 minutes into the match, Regeneración's goal looked a bit too open when Maraman Alire came free, but Xavon Herbias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mones FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Regeneración to win.
