Xusto Descarrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ur Sobarzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Xusto Descarrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Country FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xusto Descarrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berriotxoa Morente ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berriotxoa Morente in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cordero Monjo saved Country FC from getting behind. The Country FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Topaipi were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Mendialdura made a kick off. Gomez Suarez's late challenge caught a Country FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
