Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Medero Cañizares started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Corcega FC's goal looked a bit too open when Furtado Baamonde came free, but Mariano Pardelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medero Cañizares took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Pardelas. Mariano Pardelas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Horado Cacho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrico Irazu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Toli Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Henrico Irazu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Furtado Baamonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Pardelas having to interfere. Mariano Pardelas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quilo Molla went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Horado Cacho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corcega FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horado Cacho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrico Irazu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Corcega FC's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Cañizares came free, but Mariano Pardelas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Pitica's goal looked a bit too open when Toli Rius came free, but Henrico Irazu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Medero Cañizares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Furtado Baamonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Pardelas having to interfere. Zarbonin Copeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zarbonin Copeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pitica booed when Corcega FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarbonin Copeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Medero Cañizares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Pardelas was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Mariano Pardelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furtado Baamonde in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Toli Rius dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrico Irazu, 1-2. After the first half Pitica were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toli Rius was the one to do the kick off. Toli Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrico Irazu having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Pitica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quilo Molla to maneuver through the defense. Henrico Irazu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horado Cacho in the 59th minute of play. Corcega FC's Mariano Pardelas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Corcega FC from getting a goal against them. Mariano Pardelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medero Cañizares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Corcega FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zarbonin Copeiro hit a great ball. Medero Cañizares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Medero Cañizares in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Pardelas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yiyo Goveo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corcega FC's protests and gave Yiyo Goveo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Corcega FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Yiyo Goveo hit a great ball. Furtado Baamonde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Mariano Pardelas made a huge save. Corcega FC's Horado Cacho got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Endira Mijangos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Pardelas. Corcega FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Ernesto Sauto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corcega FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitica the free kick. After 98 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Corcega FC! After 101 minutes Corcega FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Endira Mijangos who took care of the corner kick. Pitica played a much better game than Corcega FC and deserved their victory. The Corcega FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
