The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enmanuel Areta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toli Rius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 9th minute, Corcega FC's Toli Rius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enmanuel Areta. The supporters of Monaco FC booed when Corcega FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yiyo Goveo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toli Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enmanuel Areta having to interfere. Toli Rius was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Asur Villalobos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mariano Pardelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Toli Rius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enmanuel Areta. The goal made the score 4-0. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Toli Rius took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Enmanuel Areta to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 33 minutes, Toli Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corcega FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toli Rius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Monaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toli Rius came free, but Enmanuel Areta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Horado Cacho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Enmanuel Areta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Monaco FC's Enmanuel Areta got control of the ball when Horado Cacho tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Asur Villalobos made the kick off in the second half. Toli Rius struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Enmanuel Areta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcega FC. In the 57th minute, Toli Rius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enmanuel Areta was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Enmanuel Areta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toli Rius in the 64th minute of the match. Horado Cacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enmanuel Areta having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Horado Cacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Asur Villalobos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Toli Rius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enmanuel Areta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horado Cacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
