The audience held their breath when Sancho Gallinar in the 30th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pirmin Lazaeta's left hand side. Juvenal Adornio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pirmin Lazaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Monotriste's Dino Porregimon got a free kick in the 40th minute. Juvenal Adornio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juvenal Adornio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Pirmin Lazaeta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bucaramanguita FC.

The wind increased when Ermano Rotaetamorga made the kick off in the second half. Bucaramanguita FC's Sendoa Rioseco got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirmin Lazaeta came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Bucaramanguita FC's Juvenal Adornio. But to his dismay, Juvenal Adornio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bucaramanguita FC's Juvenal Adornio got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Joanes Mazon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pirmin Lazaeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 75 played minutes Monotriste got a freekick which was hit by Dino Porregimon. In the 76th minute, Juvenal Adornio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Sendoa Rioseco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bucaramanguita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sendoa Rioseco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claris Centeñes's late challenge caught a Bucaramanguita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claris Centeñes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Monotriste getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Claris Centeñes hit a great ball. Juvenal Adornio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pirmin Lazaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Sendoa Rioseco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Pirmin Lazaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pirmin Lazaeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Adornio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Bucaramanguita FC booed when Monotriste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Porregimon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
