Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) La vinotinto's Urtats Ganzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Narciso Lodero kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Caribe booed when La vinotinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oinaz Urquia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Reynaldo Engraba came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Caribe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Engraba couldn't finish the play. Narciso Lodero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Che Marino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ortle Fortuño made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Frascuelo Gormaz sent off a good shot on target. Caribe's Ortle Fortuño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Caribe from getting a goal against them. Urtats Ganzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Reynaldo Engraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frascuelo Gormaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Urtats Ganzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Engraba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Che Marino having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Pio Hostos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La vinotinto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caribe the free kick. Pio Hostos hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Caribe's Ortle Fortuño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtats Ganzo in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Narciso Lodero made the kick off in the second half. Urtats Ganzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frascuelo Gormaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ladio Artechevezuen charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladio Artechevezuen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Caribe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladio Artechevezuen to maneuver through the defense. Urtats Ganzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ortle Fortuño having to interfere. Caribe's Ortle Fortuño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtats Ganzo in the 65th minute of play. Ladio Artechevezuen got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of La vinotinto booed when Caribe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladio Artechevezuen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Caribe getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Donio Cortinas hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frascuelo Gormaz in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ortle Fortuño saved Caribe from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Lodero during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Caribe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Lodero to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urtats Ganzo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ortle Fortuño saved Caribe from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtats Ganzo in the 85th minute of play forced Caribe's goalkeeper Ortle Fortuño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urtats Ganzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ortle Fortuño having to interfere. After 95 minutes of play Caribe's Narciso Lodero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Caribe's Narciso Lodero got a free kick in the 96th minute.
