Ruben Feyto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Bihar Guemez made a huge save. Millonarios F.C.'s Bihar Guemez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Millonarios F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Guido Canta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bihar Guemez. The goal made the score 1-0. Berasko Aldasoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Riesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Ruben Feyto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Feyto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Borrero made a kick off. Ruben Feyto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Canta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bihar Guemez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When Franco Borrero came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Millonarios F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Borrero couldn't finish the play. Franco Borrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Berasko Aldasoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Franco Borrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berasko Aldasoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Borrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berasko Aldasoro having to interfere. If Juvenal Riesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Ruben Feyto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
