Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caetano Olozagoitia started the match with the kick off. Arlo Caneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Hidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Erazo FC's Baudelio Andueco got a free kick in the 5th minute. Margelina FC's Montez Brancovi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Erazo FC. Mannuel Presedo's late challenge caught a Erazo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mannuel Presedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Mannuel Presedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Erazo FC's Arlo Sabugal tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arlo Caneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Hidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Erazo FC's zone, Caetano Olozagoitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenec Verga came out of the goal and Caetano Olozagoitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Erazo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Olozagoitia came free, but Domenec Verga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domenec Verga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Olozagoitia went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arlo Caneda came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Erazo FC's Claus Rael. But to his dismay, Claus Rael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 30 minutes of play, Margelina FC's Flavio Posadas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domenec Verga was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Margelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Hidalgo came free, but Arlo Caneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Erazo FC's Claus Rael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arlo Caneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Flavio Posadas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Margelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Montez Brancovi. Arlo Sabugal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Arlo Caneda made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Steven Hidalgo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Hidalgo made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Margelina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaizkine Barroso to maneuver through the defense. Gaztea Cumbres charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaztea Cumbres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Margelina FC:s Arlo Caneda showed great skill when he stopped Arlo Sabugal:s penalty. Domenec Verga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Posadas in the 63rd minute. After 66 minutes of play, Erazo FC's Steven Hidalgo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlo Caneda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Steven Hidalgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arlo Caneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Steven Hidalgo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erazo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Hidalgo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caetano Olozagoitia succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. 87 minutes into the game, Arlo Sabugal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Erazo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margelina FC the free kick. Caetano Olozagoitia struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Domenec Verga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margelina FC. Flavio Posadas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-4 in the 91st playminute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
