In the 28th match minute, El Vacile del Popeye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Favila Cerbera to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Lucian Rubina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leoncio Sosa. El Vacile del Popeye FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucian Rubina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in El Vacile del Popeye FC's zone, Julen Reguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Sosa came out of the goal and Julen Reguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, El Vacile del Popeye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julen Reguera came free, but Leoncio Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazcano Almandoz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Harriet Orozco, was totally fooled by El Vacile del Popeye FC's Alfredo Cogollor, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 70 minutes, Lucian Rubina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HIDAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Rubina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Vacile del Popeye FC's Joanes Chacon got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harriet Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joanes Chacon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quirze Rubinos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harriet Orozco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Joanes Chacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harriet Orozco having to interfere. The El Vacile del Popeye FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented HIDAN FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
