The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cardinals getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Anacleto Quicedo hit a great ball. A hard shot 27 in the game by Lucian Rubina from a close distance when the talented Elvio Ozana managed to make a qualified save. Cardinals's players were relieved. In the 32nd minute Julen Reguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Ozana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Quicedo was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee showed Seber Osuna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cardinals's Seber Osuna got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lucian Rubina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Julen Reguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celipe Lera made a kick off. Sandalio Pubill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Elvio Ozana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cardinals's Celipe Lera got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seber Osuna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harriet Orozco having to interfere. Cardinals's Elvio Ozana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julen Reguera in the 58th minute of play. Cordarrell Narganes's late challenge caught a HIDAN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordarrell Narganes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Cardinals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarrell Narganes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, HIDAN FC's Xosepe Muxica tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cardinals's zone, Julen Reguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Ozana came out of the goal and Julen Reguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cardinals booed when HIDAN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfino Canillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julen Reguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Ozana having to interfere. Ortle Catiti kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Julen Reguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute.
