The Gustiquia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beliran Piñon should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xaime Villarias during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute Nicanor Aneutes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beliran Piñon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Casillas got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Sixten Delfín handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Gaxan Mejina's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sixten Delfín firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Sidoro Olazagoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidoro Olazagoitia was the one to do the kick off.
