Goren Ibarlucea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montel Guernica having to interfere. Llin Descarrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Montel Guernica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. When Meder Gallegos fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anestians's protests and gave Meder Gallegos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Meder Gallegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Llin Descarrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Llin Descarrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anestians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llin Descarrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Goren Ibarlucea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Efraim Valiño's late challenge caught a Anestians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efraim Valiño helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Meder Gallegos got free with Montel Guernica in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meder Gallegos struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Montel Guernica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anestians. Llin Descarrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Anestians's Meder Gallegos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Montel Guernica. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute, Meder Gallegos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Montel Guernica. The goal made the score 0-3. After 88 minutes, Estevez Villarias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anestians and the BRONS F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Anestians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estevez Villarias to maneuver through the defense. If Goren Ibarlucea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Goren Ibarlucea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montel Guernica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anestians played a much better game than BRONS F.C and deserved their victory. The BRONS F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
