Nesor Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucero Gaceo in the 3rd minute of play. Zavier Cascallana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipo Lara in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Felipo Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catova FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipo Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zavier Cascallana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipo Lara got free with Zavier Cascallana in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zavier Cascallana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabier Saboya in the 17th minute of the match. Catova FC's Nesor Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xzavion Davalos in the 19th minute of play. Domiku Poves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Zavier Cascallana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Miguel Albar fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NIUPI F.C.'s protests and gave Miguel Albar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, NIUPI F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Albar to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Catova FC's Guillelmo Lera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Domiku Poves kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Zavier Cascallana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipo Lara in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipo Lara got free with Zavier Cascallana in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Lucero Gaceo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesor Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, NIUPI F.C.'s Zavier Cascallana got control of the ball when Domiku Poves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nesor Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azeari Jove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipo Lara in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zavier Cascallana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zavier Cascallana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domiku Poves, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Zavier Cascallana came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Catova FC's Domiku Poves. But to his dismay, Domiku Poves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Zavier Cascallana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabier Saboya, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Felipo Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NIUPI F.C.'s Zavier Cascallana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Catova FC got a freekick which was hit by Xabier Saboya. After 71 minutes of play, Catova FC's Felipo Lara made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zavier Cascallana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipo Lara took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zavier Cascallana. Zavier Cascallana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Peter Cañedo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, NIUPI F.C.'s Peter Cañedo got a free kick in the 85th minute. NIUPI F.C.'s Zavier Cascallana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipo Lara in the 89th minute of play. Felipo Lara took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zavier Cascallana. Zavier Cascallana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Catova FC's Nesor Rio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Catova FC from getting a goal against them. Catova FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of NIUPI F.C. for a fine match.
