Eriberto Oblanca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornelio Xavalera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Eriberto Oblanca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulin Achueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trampas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costarrios the free kick. If Paulin Achueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osasun Berrondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Zamora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Pedro Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osasun Berrondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Trampas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Zaton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paulin Achueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Xavalera struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Eriberto Oblanca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costarrios. In the 72nd minute Xzaiver Barrial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Oblanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Costarrios booed when Trampas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vimaro Urrejola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Osasun Berrondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
