The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Guarata FC's Mikelats Capitillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezkerra Vellon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But to his dismay, Gualterio Resines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ponciano Piciña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramond Sella in the 11th minute. Guarata FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Gualterio Resines scored to the left of an out of position Ponciano Piciña, making the score, 2-0. Andres Ajorbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezkerra Vellon having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Mikelats Capitillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikelats Capitillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Gualterio Resines took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ponciano Piciña to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Resines was the one to do the kick off. Ponciano Piciña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Resines, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Guarata FC's Ponciano Piciña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramond Sella in the 56th minute of play. Ponciano Piciña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramond Sella, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Gualterio Resines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Gualterio Resines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Rain FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Resines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Ajorbe hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Gualterio Resines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guarata FC's Ponciano Piciña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obano Rincon in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Guarata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramond Sella came free, but Ponciano Piciña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponciano Piciña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Resines in the 91st minute of the match. Blue Rain FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
