In the 10th match minute, Ocamonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nofre Omente to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Ocamonte's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Almirall came free, but Mergildo Bausa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ocamonte's zone, Dante Almirall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mergildo Bausa came out of the goal and Dante Almirall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorencio Cruzs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Mergildo Bausa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Ocamonte's Loco Frontera in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piendamo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mergildo Bausa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Almirall, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Ocamonte getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bortzaioriz Figueiras hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, Piendamo FC's Estevon Palacios shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mergildo Bausa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piendamo FC reached it. 0-1 became the score in the 39th minute when Petrigai Perdices elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Lorencio Cruz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mergildo Bausa. The goal made the score 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loco Frontera to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Almirall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mergildo Bausa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorencio Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Lorencio Cruz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mergildo Bausa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Piendamo FC's zone, Loco Frontera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laffitte Valero came out of the goal and Loco Frontera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, Piendamo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Formerio Rebolledo to maneuver through the defense. Estevon Palacios took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mergildo Bausa. Ocamonte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mergildo Bausa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Almirall, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mergildo Bausa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Almirall in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorencio Cruz in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mergildo Bausa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ocamonte players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Piendamo FC.
