Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alberino Sarmiento made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Junior FC's Gaizka Diez got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Xano Rebolleda was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 7 minutes Junior FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Melquiades Somavilla who took care of the corner kick. Miliano Ezquerra charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miliano Ezquerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Junior FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Miliano Ezquerra hit a great ball. Junior FC's Mauro Gota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eudoxio Guinea in the 15th minute of play. Egoi Rivadeneira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Campoo having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Envigado City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Mateos to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Eudoxio Guinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Gota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Gota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eudoxio Guinea went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes, Remigio Aguilera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Junior FC and the Envigado City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Aguilera to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match, Eudoxio Guinea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauro Gota saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Obano Ennecon kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Junior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Envigado City the free kick. Alberino Sarmiento hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Xano Rebolleda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Envigado City's Evangelista Bullan got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fortunato Marcha during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Envigado City got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Marcha. Egoi Rivadeneira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberino Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xano Rebolleda in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Gota saved Junior FC from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Envigado City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Arcos to maneuver through the defense. In the 80thth minute of the game Alberino Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Envigado City's Alfredo Campoo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Envigado City's Alfredo Campoo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Envigado City from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, Celedonio Mateos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Envigado City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junior FC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Envigado City got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Mateos. Celedonio Mateos got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Junior FC booed when Envigado City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Mateos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xano Rebolleda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Gota having to interfere. The Junior FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Envigado City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
