Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oier Mendigoitia took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 played minutes Amaiteo got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Salazano. In the 11th match minute, Amaiteo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Pecha to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Napier Urueña notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Amaiteo's Matai Rebolleda. Matai Rebolleda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ximun Zabalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chalan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximun Zabalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matai Rebolleda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Oier Mendigoitia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Pinto was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Oier Mendigoitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Pinto having to interfere. Jobo Marco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Oier Mendigoitia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geraldo Pinto. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Errapel Celama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oier Mendigoitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Geraldo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chalan's Geraldo Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jobo Marco in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Chalan's goal looked a bit too open when Oier Mendigoitia came free, but Geraldo Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jobo Marco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregory Alcazar during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Amaiteo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregory Alcazar to maneuver through the defense. Oier Mendigoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matai Rebolleda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errapel Celama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Amaiteo's zone, Napier Urueña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matai Rebolleda came out of the goal and Napier Urueña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matai Rebolleda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errapel Celama in the 93rd minute of play. Oier Mendigoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
