If Errapel Celama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sazon Garibay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errapel Celama, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Errapel Celama had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sazon Garibay. Yapurquer FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Errapel Celama was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Justino Gallaiztegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yapurquer FC's Cordeiro Marichal got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sazon Garibay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napier Urueña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Yapurquer FC's Zemario Laores got a free kick in the 45th minute. Napier Urueña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xurde Mondrevilla made a kick off. Errapel Celama struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Sazon Garibay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalan. Sazon Garibay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errapel Celama, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Xurde Mondrevilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xurde Mondrevilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Geraldo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordeiro Marichal, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Yapurquer FC's Xurde Mondrevilla in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Geraldo Pinto guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Chalan's Bernard Cañon got a free kick in the 67th minute. Napier Urueña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cordeiro Marichal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chalan's Errapel Celama got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Yapurquer FC's Sazon Garibay got control of the ball when Napier Urueña tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes, Bernard Cañon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chalan and the Yapurquer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Yapurquer FC booed when Chalan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernard Cañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sazon Garibay came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Chalan's Napier Urueña. But to his dismay, Napier Urueña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 95 minutes into the game, Zemario Laores was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yapurquer FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chalan the free kick. When the final whistle sounded Chalan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yapurquer FC.
