Francisco Fabelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Gabrio Farre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pichima FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave red´s the free kick. If Dacio Nabarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Dacio Nabarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichima FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacio Nabarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Goiz Lecanda hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. red´s's Goiz Lecanda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oto Galve but with some difficulty. When Dacio Nabarro came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Pichima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacio Nabarro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, red´s's Gorbea Azcona got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Pichima FC got a freekick which was hit by Dacio Nabarro. If Dacio Nabarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, red´s's goal looked a bit too open when Etxahun Zorita came free, but Christian Loinaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Pedrueza hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A collision led to red´s getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lucio Seseña hit a great ball. Mitxaut Cubo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Loinaz having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Oinatz Lombera hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Arecha in the 53rd minute of play forced Pichima FC's goalkeeper Oto Galve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. red´s's Christian Loinaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save red´s from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Francisco Fabelo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Francisco Fabelo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Christian Loinaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pichima FC. Christian Loinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacio Nabarro in the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Francisco Fabelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pichima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Fabelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Loinaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in red´s's zone, Dacio Nabarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Loinaz came out of the goal and Dacio Nabarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Goiz Lecanda was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th match minute, red´s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goiz Lecanda to maneuver through the defense. Dacio Nabarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Christian Loinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Dacio Nabarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichima FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacio Nabarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Pichima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabrio Farre to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Xarles Bacardi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pichima FC's Oto Galve. Oto Galve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pichima FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
