The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orti Briñas during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faron Maixenchs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mendiko Fito. Melwood's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute Inautzi Ludeña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendiko Fito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frisco Guiles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilabertus Valenzuela kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Zanin Angić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felo Candura having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Melwood's Frisco Guiles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felo Candura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zanin Angić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zanin Angić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felo Candura having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Inautzi Ludeña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mendiko Fito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

After having played for 53 minutes, Zanin Angić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zanin Angić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frisco Guiles in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felo Candura saved Limoncitos FC from getting behind. Frisco Guiles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Limoncitos FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lehoi Alicea hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Frisco Guiles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felo Candura was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 73rd match minute, Melwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isias Balli to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frisco Guiles in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felo Candura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Melwood getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isias Balli hit a great ball. Melwood's Frisco Guiles got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frisco Guiles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Limoncitos FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Melwood side.
